SCHEDULE 4 ROADS ACT 1993
FORM OF NOTICE TO BE PUBLISHED PURSUANT TO SECTION 51(3)(a) OF THE ROADS ACT 1993 (AS AMENDED BY SECTION 9(1)(e) OF THE ROADS ACT 2007) IN RELATION TO AN APPLICATION FOR APPROVAL OF A PROPOSED ROAD DEVELOPMENT AND THE SUBMISSION OF AN ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACT STATEMENT
LEOPARDSTOWN LINK ROAD AND ROUNDABOUT RECONFIGURATION SCHEME, SANDYFORD, DUBLIN 18
Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council ("the road authority") has applied under section 51(2) of the Roads Act 1993 (as amended by section 9(1)(e)(i) of the Roads Act 2007) to An Bord Pleanála ('the Board') for approval in relation to a proposed road development consisting of the upgrade of approximately 900 metres of existing roadway that includes the existing Leopardstown Road/ Brewery Road roundabout and the construction of a new road in three separate phases with a total length of approximately 1300 metres as illustrated in the map below and has submitted to the Board the environmental impact statement prepared in accordance with section 50 of the Roads Act 1993 (as amended by section 9(1)(d) of the Roads Act 2007) in respect of the proposed road development.

A copy of the environmental impact statement may be inspected on working days between Thursday 16th August 2012 and Tuesday 2nd October 2012 inclusive at the following Dún Laoghaire Rathdown County Council locations: -
- The Public Concourse, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire from 9:00am to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.
- The Planning Department Public Counter, County Hall, Marine Road, Dún Laoghaire from 10:00am to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
- The Transportation Department, Public Counter, 1 Harbour Square, Dún Laoghaire from 10:00am to 1:00pm and 2:15pm to 4:00pm Monday to Friday.
- County Council Offices, Dundrum Office Park, Main Street, Dundrum from 9:30am to 12:30pm and 1:30pm to 4:30pm Monday to Friday.

A copy of the full Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) Volume One to Three may also be purchased on payment of a fee of €225. Individual Volumes may also be purchased for the following prices, Volume 1 for €90, Volume 2 for €50 and Volume 3 for €85. A copy of the non-technical summary of the statement may be purchased for a fee of €15. The full EIS may also be purchased on CD for a fee of €10.
The Board may, in relation to an application for approval under section 51, by order, approve the proposed road development with or without modifications or it may refuse such development.
Submissions may be made in writing to the Board at An Bord Pleanála, 64 Marlborough Street, Dublin 1, in relation to the likely effects on the environment of the proposed road development, between Thursday 16th August 2012 and Tuesday 2nd October 2012.
