• We work closely with you and your family member to understand their personality, likes and dislikes, preferences and lifestyle to ensure that our carer matches this as closely as possible. To provide continuity of care each client is assigned one carer who will be responsible for delivering their personal care plan.
• Our care plans are modelled on the individual’s needs assessment and are reviewed regularly with the client and the care manager to ensure the appropriate level of care is being provided. Care plans are flexible and can be adapted to consider any changes in the clients.
• Training provided to all of our care team in Helping Hand is specific to the practical skills required for care in the home. This is designed and delivered in conjunction with the Carers Association of Ireland. All carers are trained prior to working in clients homes.
• All our client information is treated with the utmost confidentiality and complies with the Data Protection Act. Our team at Helping Hand is trained in the robust procedures for client confidentiality as part of their induction training.
